MANUAL THERAPY
Manual Therapy, is a physical treatment primarily used by physiotherapists to treat musculoskeletal pain and disability; it most commonly includes kneading and manipulation of muscles, joint mobilization and joint manipulation.

THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE
Physical activities and exercises that focus on restoring and maintaining strength, endurance, flexibility, stability and balance with the goal of returning an injured patient to a fully functioning, pain-free state.

NEUROMUSCULAR
RE-EDUCATION
A therapeutic technique that is similar to balance training and can also be used to improve balance, strength, coordination, posture, kinesthetic sense and restore normal soft tissue tone and elasticity.

MEDICAL MASSAGE
Performed with the intent of improving conditions or pathologies that have been diagnosed by a physician; a wide variety of modalities or procedures are utilized to focus the treatment based on the diagnosed condition. Typically a combination of trigger point massage, deep tissue, and myofascial release therapy.

ULTRASOUND THERAPY
This is used to provide deep heating to soft tissues in the body. These include muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments.

LUMBAR AND CERVICAL DECOMPRESSION
Spinal Decompression is a type of traction that stretches the spine to take pressure off the disks. As a result, bulging disks may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine.

IASTM
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a therapeutic technique that uses specific applied instruments to promote mobilization of restricted tissue. Restricted or adhered myofascial tissue and/or scar tissue are the primary tissues addressed with its application.

DRY-NEEDLING
Dry-Needling is the use of either solid filiform needles (also referred to as acupuncture needles) or hollow-core hypodermic needles for therapy of muscle pain.

Meet Dr. Bonnette
Helping people is our passion and purpose
Dr. Bonnette earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Alex graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology-Movement Science. Alex also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) which is one of the highest post-baccalaureate certifications for strength and conditioning.
Alex has had a keen interest to be a Physical Therapist and is now an Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). This allows Alex to specialize in orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders and treat his patients with a hands on approach which include manual therapy with an emphasis in strengthening exercises.
