Dr. Angela Kohler, PT, DPT, Clinic Director

Angela has always had a passion for sports and physical activity that led her to pursue her Bachelors in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland. While she was there she became a personal trainer and worked with a diverse client population. Realizing so many of her clients had pre-existing injuries, it fueled her passion to pursue a career in physical therapy. Having also dealt with own knee injury in high school, she could empathize with clients about the challenges of rehabbing from injuries.

She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University. Since graduation, she has worked in outpatient orthopedics. She believes in an evidence-based approach and treats each patient according to their specific goals. Through her continuing education and her own interests, she recognizes the value of strength training and how it correlates to daily function. She believes in treating patients holistically, and has taken several manual therapy courses and is Dry Needling Certified. Her goal is to help patients regain the strength and confidence to live their lives to the fullest.

Outside of the clinic, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, working out in their home gym, painting, hiking, and traveling.
