Dr. Michael Henry, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Michael’s journey to be a physical therapist was pretty standard. After ROTC at LSU, he joined the Army and was immediately whisked away to the exotic Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After 2 combat tours, he spent some time in corporate America working for a Fortune 500 company, then decided to give physical therapy a shot. With his wild background, he was able to trick Washington University in Saint Louis, a top rated Physical Therapy program, to accept him.

Since earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy, Michael has gained extensive experience working in sports and orthopedics, has earned his Board Certification in Orthopedics (OCS), is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and has further knowledge with CrossFit (CF-L2) and is a Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) certified instructor. Michael blends his unique experience from a wide variety of rehab and training principles to deliver a personalized experience for all of his patients.

In his free time Michael loves spending time with his wife and his 2 children doing anything outdoors. He also loves physical activity and training, and is constantly experimenting on himself on ways to deliver exercise more effectively.
